This past Sunday, the Center for Spiritual Living hosted Brock Seal’s Artist of the Month reception, an uplifting afternoon that celebrated both his art and his journey.

The blog reflects on A Dream Deferred, an award-winning play by Celeste A. Frazier, using its story as a lens to explore the nature of dreams, loss, and personal freedom. Through the journey of a man confronting his past, the piece examines how unresolved grief and fear can cause dreams to be deferred, and invites readers to reflect on their own dreams—whether they are cherished, feared, or ignored—and the courage required to pursue them.
