Artist of the Month Reception (November)

On Sunday, November 9, The CSL Art Committee hosted an artist reception for Brenda Fraser and her collection, Finding Wholeness in the Broken Places, currently on display in Scott Hall throughout the month of November.

During her artist reception, Brenda shared a heartfelt presentation about her challenging life journeys and how those experiences became a source of inspiration, guiding her to create beautiful, meaningful pieces for others.

Brenda uses vintage jewelry pieces, symbols and charms to create "Storytelling Mosaics" or "Memory Mosaics."  She works with each customer personally to find the pieces that are meaningful to them.  Brenda calls this "Intentional Art" where each piece is chosen and placed with intention. 

As part of the celebration, we held a drawing for a few of Brenda’s original pieces, and we had a handful of lucky winners! Congratulations and thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring event.

If you missed the reception, there’s still time to experience Brenda's work. Her collection will remain on view at CSL through the end of November. You can stop by Tuesday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. All pieces are available for purchase in the Rising Thought Gifts & Bookstore.
