Artist of the Month Reception (October)

On Sunday, October 12th, The CSL Art Committee hosted an artist reception for Matt "Rebel" Jones and his collection, Rebel Art, currently on display in Scott Hall throughout the month of October.

During his artist reception, Matt shared how art serves as his grounding force — a way to stay sane and centered in an often chaotic world. Creating art, he said, is his outlet and source of calm and he almost always has music playing in the background to draw out inspiration.

As part of the celebration, we held a drawing for one of Matt’s original pieces, and the lucky winner was LindaJoy! Congratulations, LindaJoy, and thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring event.

If you missed the reception, there’s still time to experience Matt's work. His collection will remain on view at CSL through the end of October. You can stop by Tuesday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. All pieces are available for purchase in the Rising Thought Gifts & Bookstore.
