Artist of the Month Reception (May)

On Sunday, May 17th, we gathered for a special Artist of the Month reception celebrating the creativity and talent within our own CSL community.

This year's Emerging Artists Group Show featured the work of eleven CSL members, each bringing their unique perspective, style, and artistic voice to the exhibit.

The exhibit showcased a wide variety of artistic mediums, including fiber art, paper crafts, acrylic painting, recycled materials, and more. Together, the collection reflected not only the diversity of creative expression within our community, but also the courage and joy that comes from sharing one's work with others.

Featured artists included Joani Alsop, Bob Baker, Kathi Bell, Cynthia Correll, Michelle Edwards, Diann Graysen, Marilyn Klearman, Pooki Lee, Cindy Shulman, Richard Tichenor, and Bettyanne Shannon.

Some artists were experienced exhibitors, while others were sharing their artwork publicly for the very first time, making the reception an especially meaningful celebration of creativity and self-expression.

The afternoon was filled with connection, conversation, and appreciation for the many gifts represented throughout the exhibit. It was inspiring to see members supporting one another and witnessing how creativity can deepen community and provide another avenue for spiritual expression.

We are deeply grateful to all of our Emerging Artists for sharing their talents and helping make Scott Hall such a vibrant and inspiring space throughout the month of May.
