"Art to Make U Smile"

with artist, rich brooks

Sunday, june 2

12:30PM - 2:30PM

w/ live painting demo!

During covid, Rich established a series called "Art 2 Make U Smile" which was kindled by childhood memories, fairy tales, pop culture, animals, Picasso and Rockwell.  At the beginning of the pandemic, Richard wanted to keep the arts alive so he built an easel in the front of his home and started painting outdoors.  Working more than 1100 days in spite of the weather, Richard created 80 large paintings.  This has inspired hundreds of people who drove or walked by every morning to see what Rich was painting. "They stopped.  They honked.  They waved.  They smiled."
