Gray Finch is a mixed media artist that uses reclaimed materials and eco-friendly mediums in his work. He uses everything from paper, acrylics and various gel mediums to manipulate the surface of his work. He is known for using different forms of photo transfers. Finch also creates live art at different venues & festivals.

Gray's Art will be on display from Feb. 1st - feb. 28th in scott hall of the Center for spiritual living

"Art has been my mantra for interconnection; encouraging my exploration of concepts such as reincarnation and a reverence for the animal kingdom. Since I began my journey as an artist, my work has evolved into interpretation and expression of Hindu / Buddhism, Meditation and Reincarnation."

Why do you make art?

I make art because it runs in my blood. My grandmother was an artist and I believe that I was born to follow in her footsteps.

 

What Inspires You?

Meditation, General interest in Buddhism and Hinduism, Nature and conversations that are meaningful.

 

What does it communicate?

Reincarnation, spirituality, reflection of the different deities in eastern religions.
