Artist of the Month
(May)

This May, we celebrate our Artist of the Month: a multi-talented creative whose work in photography is a thoughtful and compelling exploration of the world around us. With a keen eye for both natural and man-made subjects, Steve's square-format images capture moments of beauty, mystery, and unexpected humor. Whether documenting daily life or scenes from travel, his goal is simple yet profound: to share how he sees the world.

With a background in fine art and a career that has spanned stand-up comedy, acting, voiceover work, and award-winning graphic design, Steve brings a rich and varied creative perspective to his photography. Since rekindling his passion in recent years, he has exhibited widely, earned national recognition, and continue to delight audiences with his striking compositions—each one a square window into his ongoing journey of artistic discovery.
Steve Springmeyer will be displaying his photography in Scott Hall May 1 - may 30.
His artwork will also be for sale! Visit the rising thought bookstore to purchase.
Opening Reception
On May 4th, Steve Springmeyer hosted his opening reception in Scott Hall at the Center for Spiritual Living, showcasing a compelling series of 12x12 photographs inspired by the dimensions of classic album covers. During the event, Steve shared how this format not only pays homage to his love of music and vinyl records but also creates a unique visual experience—drawing attention to composition, mood, and storytelling within a square frame.
