Artist of the Month
(March)

MaryJo Clark, a lifelong artist and art educator in St. Louis, explores various media, including collage, painting, printmaking, and ceramics.
As a mixed media collage artist, she layers textures, colors, and forms to create abstract compositions that invite personal interpretation. Using found materials, handmade papers, photos, and 3-D elements, she crafts stylized landscapes, cityscapes, botanicals, and abstractions.
When working representationally, she turns to pastels for their vibrant, blendable qualities. Her work invites viewers to pause and look deeper—to engage with the distinctions of surface and space, and to feel a sense of curiosity.
MaryJo's art will be on display from March 1 - 28 in scott hall of the Center for spiritual living. Her artwork will be for sale! Visit the rising thought bookstore to purchase.
