YOUTH MINISTERIES Minimize

YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRIES

In order to become spiritually evolved a person must know three main things: first, that he or she is unique and valuable; secondly, that there is a “power for good in the Universe”; and lastly, that every individual can use that power in co-creating a wonderful life. We used the first of these requirements for the theme “I Am Special” in which the students worked on developing a good self-image. This was followed with last year’s theme, “God Is...” in which the nature and creative aspects of God were studied.

This year is the last in the three year thematic spiritual journey and its title is, “Making Good Choices”. Through conscious choice each individual can become self-determining so it is important that children learn to make their own choices. Students will study goal and decision making, how to believe in and rely on their own judgment, and the nature of the creative process of the Universe.
